Welcome to FragPub!

FragPub is a professionally hosted Minecraft server open to any players that want to join. :)

You can join by pointing your Minecraft game to:

fragpub.com -or- 168.235.90.53


(Note that unofficial Minecraft clients or tools (such as mobile chat apps) should use the direct IP, or, secondary hostname: mine.fragpub.com)

(Also note that sometimes it is good to add both the hostname AND IP to your game, in case the DNS is ever down)



FragPub History:
In mid-2011, owner "Fizz" started with Minecraft server hosting. Utilizing both local and external hosting, knowledge was built on hosting configuration and execution, and multiplayer was available for friends.

In early 2012, the server expanded to include a small internet community and utilized a colleague's hosting services.

At the beginning of 2013, the server was moved to a larger host with a data center based in Texas, expanded to the public, and took on the FragPub name. The website was launched, and the server operated this way for over 2 years.

In May of 2015, Fizz decided to retire from ownership of FragPub, and it was handed over to "Mew" at no charge. Mew took on running the FragPub server, and operated it for several months before turning it over to Duke, who continued to run it. FragPub is now mostly visited by some old regulars that have fun hanging out with each other.

In mid-to-late 2017, Fizz noticed the server had apparently been abandoned and down. He pointed the domain to an alternate small server he has kept running, keeping the FragPub name alive. (Old IP: 104.218.100.120 - no longer alive.)

In August of 2022, the remaining community members of FragPub and GizmoPub elected to turn down the server henceforth, and close it indefinitely.
